I'm am a married male 78 years old and have just been diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Sarcoma. The diagnoses came about from a small black spot with a bean size sack under the skin near the left nipple. A dermatologist removed most of the under the skin mass and sent it off for a biopsy. Also, at the same time, a smaller black spot with an under the skin, smaller than a pea, came up at the same time. We have had the stains sent to two of the leading doctors in the USA working with LCH children and adults and they have confirmed a sarcoma. Our oncologist wanted to have another sample of the mass taken out to the periphery to see what that would indicate, but, the lead doctors advised him to proceed with treatment as soon as possible as this is a very aggressive condition. A bone marrow fluid and bone extract was done today along with blood drawn and a MAG procedure to check my heart condition. Tomorrow I go in for a pet scan. I read your story of your son.
